The story begins 120 years ago, when Don Florencio decided to open a small churro stand on the corner of Prado and Calle Atocha in Madrid. This was the beginning of a saga of artisans that grew little by little and culminated with Don Joaquín with the founding of Maestro Churrero.

More than a century later, one of the most emblematic establishments in the Capital is in luck. Don Joaquín, son of Don Galo, renovates his premises in the heart of Madrid, in Plaza Jacinto Benavente, very close to the places where his great-grandfather began his career; and he opens his second location in Carrera de San Jerónimo. Don Joaquín, the heir to the saga, is committed to strong innovations in the sector and, of course, combines them with traditional craftsmanship. A perfect cocktail that will meet not only the expectations of lifelong customers, but will also delight new consumers attracted by the latest news.

In 1940, Don Galo, barely eleven years old and with a basket under his arm, began selling churros in theaters and cafes in the most emblematic streets and neighbourhoods, such as La Latina or Calle Toledo or Paseo del Prado. Over time he managed to collect 400 pesetas, with which he bought a frying pan and a drum to make a fire and fry churros. Together with his wife, Doña Ana, they would tour the fairs and verbenas of Madrid. That's where this story began, that of a family saga that spans five generations and all of them with a common denominator: the pride of effort, sacrifice and honesty of more than a hundred years making churros.

We use state-of-the-art software and POS terminals, telecomanderos, video wall screens to offer our products and menus, street-oriented LED screens, internal Wi-Fi network, public Wi-Fi network, kitchen machinery with touch screens to manufacture our products.

Using state-of-the-art machinery that allows measuring the quality of the oil and its daily filtering as a factor of excellence of the final product, while generating savings of 25% in consumption and reducing the cost of recycling oils that reach the environment.
